Sustainability is built into how we work, not added on. Local production shortens the supply chain, and our reliance on natural fibres keeps our footprint light.

The fibre
What is linen?
Linen is a natural fibre made from the flax plant, one of the oldest textiles in the world, prized around the Mediterranean since antiquity for its comfort in warm, bright climates.
The fibre is separated from the flax stem through a process called retting, then spun into yarn and woven into cloth: a craft little changed in thousands of years.
A fibre as old as the Mediterranean itself.

Sustainable production
Grown, responsibly
Linen begins with flax, one of the most resource-light crops in the world. It grows on rain alone, needs little in the way of pesticides or fertilisers, and leaves almost nothing to waste, with every part of the plant put to use.
Low-impact crop
Far less water than cotton, few chemicals.
Biodegradable & recyclable
A true slow-fashion fibre.
Short, local chain
Woven in Europe, made in Greece.
Carbon-friendly by nature
Flax absorbs CO₂ as it grows, so linen starts life with a low carbon footprint.
Sustainable production
Colour, responsibly
Dyeing is one of the most resource-intensive stages in making clothes, so it is one we take seriously. Every PLS garment is coloured with low-impact, responsibly chosen dyes that are kinder to the environment and to the skin that wears them.
Low-impact dyes
Chosen to use less water and energy, bonding efficiently to natural fibres.
Free from harmful substances
Skin-friendly, anti-allergic colour, gentle even on sensitive skin.
